Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about The Ballzac, including how to use it, where to use it and how to care for it.
The Ballzac is your compact self-massage tool. You use it to hit tight muscles and trigger points with firm, targeted pressure. It is small, portable, and made for everyday muscle relief.
You use The Ballzac to apply controlled pressure to tight muscles, trigger points, and hard-to-reach spots. It helps you work on tension at home, at work, or after training.
Common areas include the back, shoulders, glutes, hips, hamstrings, calves and feet. Avoid direct pressure on the spine, joints or injured areas.
Unlike a single massage ball, The Ballzac is designed to provide greater stability, control and muscle coverage, making it easier to target difficult areas such as the neck, muscles beside the spine, hips, glutes, calves and shoulders.
Its portable design also allows for effective self-treatment at home, work, the gym or while travelling.
The Ballzac was developed using real clinical physiotherapy experience and refined through patient feedback. It combines effective pressure release with comfort, portability and ease of use, making it suitable for both recovery and everyday muscle maintenance.
HOW TO USE
Place the balls between you and a firm surface like a wall or floor. Lean in, move slowly, and let the pressure build only if it feels good. Start light. You can always add more.
Use a hard floor or wall when you want more pressure. Want something gentler? Try carpet, a yoga mat, or another softer surface. The surface changes the feel, so start easy.
Most people benefit from using The Ballzac for 30–90 seconds per muscle area. Sessions can vary depending on individual comfort and muscle tightness.
Many people use massage balls regularly, but listen to your body and avoid overuse. If soreness increases, take a break.
Reduce the pressure by supporting more of your body weight with your hands or legs, or use the tool against a wall instead of the floor. Start gently and gradually increase pressure as your muscles relax.
SAFETY
You may feel firm pressure or mild tenderness around tight muscles. That’s normal. It should not feel sharp, intense, numb, or shoot pain. If it does, ease off or stop.
Yes — a little tenderness can happen after you release tight muscles, especially when you’re new to it. It usually settles within 24–48 hours. If pain is strong or lasts longer, stop using it and get professional advice.
Do not use The Ballzac directly over acute injuries, open wounds, fractures, infections, bruising or areas of significant swelling or inflammation.
If you have a medical condition or are unsure whether self-massage is appropriate for you, consult your physiotherapist or healthcare professional before use.
Gentle massage may be suitable during pregnancy; however, avoid excessive pressure and do not use over the abdomen or sensitive areas.
If pregnant, we recommend seeking advice from your healthcare provider before use.
Yes — however, pressure should always be introduced gradually. Start gently and use for short periods initially, allowing your body to adapt over time.
If you are experiencing severe pain, numbness, tingling, nerve symptoms or a recent significant injury, you should seek professional medical advice before using the product.
No. The Ballzac is a general self-massage tool and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.
